Praveen Krishnamurthy, a wine aficionado from HipBar – India’s first drinks delivery app and Käse, Chennai’s much loved artisan cheese brand collaborate with “By Hand from the Heart” to celebrate the 25th edition of the Maker’s Market with a Wine & Cheese event.

Praveen is India’s first wine Investment advisor and the current secretary of Terroir – The Madras Wine Club. He facilitates wine tasting events across the country.

6 of Käse specials will be paired with 3 award winning Indian wines. We will talk about the wines, the nuances of tasting, the notes of the wines and how they pair with cheese & food.

Speciality coffee roasters Divya Jayshankar and artisan cheesemaker Namrata Sundaresan take you through a pairing of 3 coffees with cheese.  Dabbling in the world of pairings is fun. A successful marriage of food and beverage creates harmony among contrasting flavors and accentuates complementary characteristics, delivering an exciting experience for the palate. The specialty coffee realm provides a playful space for flavor combinations, especially when it comes to cheese. The taste and texture of cheese makes it ideal for balancing coffee’s acidity and helps identify flavour profiles of different coffee.
